BBVA Stadium, Mexico

Aquabox was selected at BBVA Stadium to manage heavy rainfall and store large volumes of stormwater underground without reducing the usability of public areas, with 9,373 m³ of underground storage. Its 96% void ratio, modular design, and high storage capacity enabled efficient water storage, easier installation, and water reuse for park irrigation and other technical needs.

 

Parque del Agua, Mexico

Parque del Agua in Mexico required an efficient underground water management solution. Aquabox was selected to create five underground tanks with a total net storage capacity of 3,883 m³ across 2,528 m², while keeping the park surface fully usable. Its 96% void ratio, 1.60 m two-level installation, and lightweight, stackable modules maximized storage capacity and simplified installation without cranes or heavy lifting equipment.

 

Milan Bergamo Airport, Italy

Aquabox was used at Milan Bergamo Airport to build a 270 m³ high-capacity stormwater dispersion basin serving the airport infrastructure. The solution addressed the challenge of managing large water volumes with limited excavation, while its modular and lightweight design enabled fast installation, reduced excavation, and efficient water management.

 

Equinix Center, Settimo Milanese, Italy

Aquabox was used at Equinix Center to build two underground rainwater tanks with a total capacity of 2,604 m³. The shallow excavation was a key challenge, solved by using two layers of Aquabox Cube and Aquabox. The lightweight modules enabled manual installation, with the tanks completed in just 9 and 5 days.

 

Stormwater filtration system, Greece

Aquabox was used to build a 1,550 m³ Stormwater filtration system along a major road in Greece. The challenge was to manage heavy rainfall quickly while maintaining road safety. Its 96% void ratio and 432 L storage capacity per module provided efficient water storage.

 

Industrial warehouse and office building, Cambridge, Canada

Aquabox was used at the Industrial Warehouse and Office Building to build two stormwater tanks with a total capacity of 2,702 m³. The project faced high groundwater levels and shallow excavation conditions. Aquabox enabled a shallow installation with manual assembly, less aggregate, less heavy equipment, and reduced construction costs.

 

SIVE, Legnago, Italy

Aquabox was used at the SIVE project to build two stormwater retention tanks with a total capacity of 726 m³ in a shallow 2.2 m excavation. Its 96% void ratio provided high storage capacity while reducing excavation by three times compared with gravel. The lightweight modules also required 75 times fewer truckloads, reducing transport and material needs.
