UniZEB and Geoplast - partners in sustainable construction

We are glad to announce that Geoplast has partnered with UniZEB – The University of Padua’s Zero Energy Buildings lab, on a shared mission to develop innovative solutions for sustainable construction.

UniZEB was established in 2015 with the goal of building a lab that would incorporate and test innovative Zero Energy Building technologies: home automation, thermo-technical systems (heating, cooling, ventilation), as well as architectural and structural solutions (products, materials, construction methods).

We have decided to support the ZEB lab by sharing our expertise, research results, and innovations, embracing an opportunity to show the performance of our own solutions in return. So far, UniZEB has included 2 of our products in the project.

Modulo is going to be used for the construction of the lab’s 90m2 ventilated foundations.

Completa is going to be used for the construction of the lab’s roof. UniZEB is going to monitor the temperature under the green roof. The temperature and humidity in the interior of the building are also going to be measured.

The project is ongoing. Stay in touch. We will let you know about the laboratory’s advances.
