San Francisco Airport Terminal 1 Redevelopment

The project will create a new Boarding Area B, as well as a new Terminal 1 Center. It includes a newly consolidated security checkpoint and baggage handling system

The new boarding area B will be provided with 24 fully-operating gates, among which 6 will accommodate international arrivals.

This is a 2.4 billion USD project that is going to be completed from 2016 to 2024. The new Terminal 1 will be a 500,000 square foot boarding area (46,451 sqm), that is anticipated to receive at minimum an Environmental LEED Gold certification.
