Nathan Suites Condo, a luxury residential building, Singapore

Nathan Suites Condo is a high‑rise luxury residential building in Singapore. Geopanel was used to construct bomb shelters to comply with local civil defence and structural requirements.

The contractor formed the shelters on each level with Geopanel recycled plastic formwork. Geopanel’s recycled ABS panels are lightweight, so workers assembled them by hand inside the tower. This simplified logistics on the confined site and reduced lifting constraints. As a result, the contractor kept a fast floor cycle throughout the whole project.

Geopanel is modular and adjusts in small increments. Crews reconfigured the same set floor by floor, to fit walls, doors, and service openings. Dimensions stayed accurate, and the surface finish stayed smooth. Since concrete barely sticks to plastic, cleaning was quick and the panels could be reused over 100 times. Compared to traditional formwork, Geopanel cut material waste and handling resources making the project sustainably profitable.
