Geoplast is proud to announce Bio-Geopod, the first ever foundation solution that doesn’t need to be built – but planted and grown. Designed as a traditional construction alternative, Bio-Geopod replaces concrete, with a 100% recycled organic matter.
Geoplast R&D developed Bio-Geopod to function as a self-assembling foundation reducing concrete use while maintaining structural performance.
Each unit is planted directly on site. Once activated with water, Bio-Geopod grows and expands, binding into a continuous load-bearing base, within 48 hours. The solution adapts to environmental conditions without formwork, heavy machinery, or curing time.
The shape is pre-programmed via genetic design.
