Fridge Cell with Ventilated Foundations in Brescia, Italy

Geoplast S.p.A supplied the ventilated under-floor cavity Module H60 for the construction of the flooring of a fridge cell located in an industrial area in Trevenzuolo, in the province of Brescia. The client chose this solution because of the reliability of the system and the speed of installation.

The flooring of this cold store has been designed to support very heavy loads, due to both the storage of goods and their handling with forklifts. The use of Module H60, together with Geoblock, allowed the client to cast Unique slab and support plinths around the prefabricated columns. It also ensured the use of the slab's intrador for the forced maintenance of the temperature of the compartment, the passage installations and the possibility of collecting any percolating liquids.
