The New Nautilus Calculator for slabs pre-dimensioning is available here.
It is a useful tool for designing hollow core RC plates with flat intrados and no dropped beams. By entering the design parameters, as spans between columns, columns’ dimensions, design loads and more, the calculator provides information about:
- The thickness of the slab to be used;
- The best New Nautilus height to choose;
- The slab deformation;
- Materials consumption;
- Punching check;
- Deflection check.
The calculator is available in English, Italian, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese and Russian languages. It is useful to the engineers who face the study of lightened slabs with Geoplast New Nautilus while providing a calculation report with all input and output data, which can also be downloaded in PDF format.
