Alcuni gruppi di ricerca puntano ad un processo di produzione ad emissioni zero, senza l\u2019uso di combustibili fossili, alimentato da fonti elettriche o rinnovabili. Ci sono ricerche scientifiche in corso in molti laboratori: la ricerca del <a href=\"http:\/\/news.mit.edu\/2019\/carbon-dioxide-emissions-free-cement-0916\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MIT research<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/rediscoverconcrete.com\/assets\/files\/revised-contempra-fact-sheet_v2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Portland Limestone cement<\/a> o il <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cenin.co.uk\/products\/default.aspx?id=43&amp;Ultra%20Low%20Carbon%20Cements\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cenin cement<\/a>, per citarne alcuni.\r\n\r\nL\u2019altro approccio mira a <strong>ridurre in modo massiccio l&#8217;uso di calcestruzzo<\/strong>. Ci\u00f2 significa mettere a punto soluzioni applicative e tecniche di costruzione che riducono il volume di calcestruzzo utilizzato nell\u2019intero edificio. In linea con questa opzione, specialmente in progetti su larga scala, i nostri prodotti per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/it\/prodotti\/edilizia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">fondazioni<\/a> e <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/it\/prodotti\/solai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">solai<\/a> aiutano a ridurre le emissioni di CO2 e risparmiare fino al 20% di calcestruzzo. La riduzione del calcestruzzo riduce anche i tempi di costruzione e l\u2019utilizzo di mezzi di sollevamento, riducendo anche le emissioni di CO2.\r\n\r\nI grandi progetti possono ridurre significativamente il calcestruzzo e l\u2019inquinamento. I solai a piastre alleggerite sono stati scelti come soluzione per fornire spazio interno adattabile e trasformabile. Per pianificare le divisioni dello spazio interno, \u00e8 stato necessario creare la struttura libera da colonne e travi.
