M\u00eame si vous savez que ces travaux sont n\u00e9cessaires pour des routes meilleures et moins encombr\u00e9es (\u00e0 la fin).\r\n\r\nAu tournant du si\u00e8cle, l&rsquo;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/M50_motorway_(Ireland)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">autoroute M50<\/a>, la route orbitale tr\u00e8s fr\u00e9quent\u00e9e de Dublin, a souffert de probl\u00e8mes chroniques de capacit\u00e9, de telle sorte qu&rsquo;au d\u00e9but de 2006, un projet de modernisation massive a \u00e9t\u00e9 lanc\u00e9. L&rsquo;un des points noirs les plus c\u00e9l\u00e8bres de la M50 \u00e9tait la <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Red_Cow_interchange\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Red Cow Roundabout<\/a>, l&rsquo;intersection avec l&rsquo;importante route N7 de Cork et Limerick: le trafic circulant sur la N7 devait n\u00e9gocier un feu \u00e0 chaque mouvement, ce qui ralentissait la progression. Le projet n\u00e9cessitait la construction de nouveaux ponts le long des ponts existants, et l&rsquo;espace disponible \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s limit\u00e9 pour placer des grues et autres \u00e9quipements lourds en bordure de route tout en maintenant la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sur le site de construction ainsi que sur l&rsquo;autoroute.\r\n\r\nLa proposition \u00e9tait difficile, et c&rsquo;est exactement \u00e0 ce moment-l\u00e0 que le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/fr\/les-solutions\/coffrages\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">coffrage en ABS Geoplast<\/a> est devenu un \u00e9l\u00e9ment essentiel de l&rsquo;\u00e9quation: les coffrages <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/fr\/produits\/coffrages\/geotub\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Geotub<\/a> \u00e9taient l&rsquo;outil parfait pour produire les grandes <strong>colonnes circulaires<\/strong> du pont (800 mm de diam\u00e8tre) sans avoir \u00e0 bloquer une voie suppl\u00e9mentaire de l&rsquo;autoroute.\r\n\r\nChaque <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/fr\/produits\/coffrages\/geotub\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Geotub<\/a> 80, d&rsquo;une hauteur de 4,2 m, <strong>ne pesait au total que 76,16 kg<\/strong> (aucun \u00e9l\u00e9ment ne p\u00e8se plus de 8,9 kg). Cela a permis \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de construction d&rsquo;\u00e9riger et de d\u00e9nuder manuellement la bo\u00eete de poteaux sans compromettre la circulation d\u00e9j\u00e0 limit\u00e9e, ni la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du chantier. \u00c9galement important, le coffrage pourrait \u00eatre livr\u00e9 et retir\u00e9 du site \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide de v\u00e9hicules l\u00e9gers, beaucoup moins troublants et n&rsquo;exigeant pas d&rsquo;espace de stationnement excessif sur le site.\r\n\r\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/geoplast-geotub-columns-1.jpg\" alt=\"Geoplast Geotub\" \/>\r\n\r\nLe Red Cow rond-point a \u00e9t\u00e9 transform\u00e9 en carrefour autoroutier \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle: la congestion a \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9duite gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un troisi\u00e8me niveau de s\u00e9paration des voies, permettant au trafic de passer de la M50 \u00e0 la N7 sans avoir \u00e0 faire un rond-point.
