The interiors have been designed by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.inhouse.ws\">Inhouse Architects <\/a>and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gridco-construction.co.za\/\">GridCo<\/a> was the main contractor.\r\n\r\nThis new luxury development is located on St John\u2019s Road in Sea Point, in the Atlantic Seaboard of Cape Town; it consists of a series of two- and three-bedroom apartments and a <strong>Penthouse, <\/strong>which is the 17th Apartment that will have a unique design. For the Penthouse construction, engineers at Moroff &amp; Khune chose <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/foundations\/modulo\/\">Modulo<\/a> <strong>H3, H6, H9, H13, H30 and H35<\/strong> in order to meet the client\u2019s request for a light and elevated surface, in respect of the existing flooring that reflected depth differences.\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-50779 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/southafrica_02.jpg\" alt=\"Modulo used in luxury development in South Africa\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/southafrica_02.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/southafrica_02-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/southafrica_02-224x128.jpg 224w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/southafrica_02-88x50.jpg 88w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/>\r\n\r\nAfter the concrete pouring, it was possible to continue to <strong>ensure the water flowing during rainfalls.<\/strong> In fact, cuts have been made in proximity of the edges to adress the outflow of water under <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/foundations\/modulo\/\">Modulo<\/a>.\r\n\r\nOur solution replaced conventional backfilling material without adding any weight to the existing structure; in fact, the lightness of the element was a critical element. In particular, the smaller solution <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/foundations\/minimodulo\/\">Minimodulo<\/a> was very useful in this project. In fact, the height range of the product permitted to intervene also with reduced thickness, thus avoiding loss of useful height. Moreover, it simplified logistics, transport and it was space-saving even on site.\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-50793 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/modulo_southafrica_03-1.jpg\" alt=\"Modulo used for passage of hydraulic pipes and electrical installations\" width=\"700\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/modulo_southafrica_03-1.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/modulo_southafrica_03-1-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/modulo_southafrica_03-1-224x128.jpg 224w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/modulo_southafrica_03-1-88x50.jpg 88w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/>\r\n\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/foundations\/modulo\/\">Modulo<\/a> separates the floor from the ground and becomes advantageous also for the <strong>passage of hydraulic pipes and electrical installations<\/strong> underneath it.
