
{"id":36264,"date":"2017-02-23T13:54:29","date_gmt":"2017-02-23T13:54:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/?p=36264"},"modified":"2018-05-24T06:49:07","modified_gmt":"2018-05-24T06:49:07","slug":"geoplasts-geocell-the-new-system-for-the-surfaces-drainage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/blog\/geoplasts-geocell-the-new-system-for-the-surfaces-drainage\/","title":{"rendered":"Geoplast&#8217;s Geocell: the new system for the surfaces&#8217; drainage"},"content":{"rendered":"<em>Geocell, modular panel for horizontal and vertical drainage systems.<\/em>\r\n\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/water\/geocell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Geocell<\/a> is a new product that enriches the range of Geoplast&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/solutions\/water\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Water Solutions<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/water\/geocell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Geocell<\/a> allows the realization of cavities of <strong>3 cm<\/strong> in thickness at the bottom of each type of surface, to collect rainwater and favor its natural infiltration into the soil.\r\n\r\nConsidering that the most violent storms, or those of short duration and high intensity, discharge even 60 mm of water in half an hour,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/water\/geocell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Geocell<\/a> makes the <strong>50%<\/strong> of the precipitation infiltrates into the subsoil, thus avoiding the crisis of the drainage network and, consequently, the problems of flooding.\r\n\r\nThe confirmation of the panel enables a bi-directional drainage,\u00a0that is it combines the vertical infiltration component with the possibility of water flowing in the transverse direction, essential for an effective drainage of the areas with a certain slope or for situations in which the subsoil presents a reduced permeability. Thanks to the high vacuum index (about <strong>91%<\/strong>) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/water\/geocell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Geocell<\/a> can replace the 10-15 cm of gravel traditionally provided below pavings or sports fields for rainwater drainage.\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-71970 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/geocell_2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1240\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/geocell_2.png 1240w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/geocell_2-300x121.png 300w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/geocell_2-768x310.png 768w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/geocell_2-1024x413.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/geocell_2-224x90.png 224w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/geocell_2-124x50.png 124w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/geocell_2-570x230.png 570w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1240px) 100vw, 1240px\" \/>\r\n\r\n<em>Geocell panel allows bidirectional drainage, thus preventing floods.\u00a0<\/em>\r\n\r\nThe tests conducted on the product have shown how the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/water\/geocell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Geocell<\/a> structure has a high resistance to applied loads (meets the requirements of standard <strong>DIN1072 for load class SLW60<\/strong>, heavy vehicles), thus allowing the positioning of the panel even below areas subject to heavy vehicles traffic, with excavation thicknesses minimized. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/water\/geocell\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Geocell<\/a> is also equipped with an innovative coupling which ensures the possibility to rotate a grid relative to one another up to an angle of <strong>90\u00b0<\/strong>.
