Residences are designed with varying heights from 6 to 13 floors, and resemble the forms in movement. In construction of basement walls, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/foundations\/defender\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Defender<\/a> panels were used because of their:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Good drainage capacity,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Ability to reduce moisture in basement walls by providing ventilation space,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Resistance to the soil compression, while protecting the waterproofing of walls,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Time-saving advantages, due to modularity, easy and fast mounting,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Cost-saving advantages because additional gravel drainage isn\u2019t necessary.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/projects\/driveable-lawn-at-kilometro-rosso-bergamo-italy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Kilometro Rosso &#8211; Jean Nouvel<\/a><\/h3>\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-109725\" src=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Nouvel-Kilometro-Rosso.jpg\" alt=\"Jean Nouvel - Kilometro Rosso\" width=\"1240\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Nouvel-Kilometro-Rosso.jpg 1240w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Nouvel-Kilometro-Rosso-300x121.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Nouvel-Kilometro-Rosso-768x310.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Nouvel-Kilometro-Rosso-1024x413.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Nouvel-Kilometro-Rosso-224x90.jpg 224w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Nouvel-Kilometro-Rosso-124x50.jpg 124w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Nouvel-Kilometro-Rosso-570x230.jpg 570w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1240px) 100vw, 1240px\" \/>\r\n\r\nProduct used: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/green\/geoflor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Geoflor<\/a>\r\n\r\nScience and Technology Park <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jeannouvel.com\/en\/projects\/the-kilometro-rosso-science-and-technology-park\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kilometro Rosso<\/a> near Bergamo consists of numerous buildings, all connected with continuous walkable and drivable green area. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/green\/geoflor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Geoflor<\/a> modular grids were used to cover 2,200 m2 of drivable green surface. Geoflor offers these advantages:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Protection of the the turf and roots from mechanical damage,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Lowering the temperature on micro-level,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Decreasing the heat island impact on the environment,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Time-saving due to ease of placing,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>High resistance to mechanical force.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/projects\/city-of-arts-and-sciences-foundation-ventilation-valencia-spain\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> City of arts and sciences &#8211; Santiago Calatrava<\/a><\/h3>\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-109733\" src=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Calatrava-Valencia.jpg\" alt=\"Centre Arts and sciences - Santiago Calatrava\" width=\"1240\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Calatrava-Valencia.jpg 1240w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Calatrava-Valencia-300x121.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Calatrava-Valencia-768x310.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Calatrava-Valencia-1024x413.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Calatrava-Valencia-224x90.jpg 224w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Calatrava-Valencia-124x50.jpg 124w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Calatrava-Valencia-570x230.jpg 570w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1240px) 100vw, 1240px\" \/>\r\n\r\nProduct used: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/foundations\/modulo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Modulo<\/a>\r\n\r\nThe complex <a href=\"https:\/\/calatrava.com\/projects\/ciudad-de-las-artes-y-de-las-ciencias-valencia.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">City of arts and sciences in Valencia<\/a> consists of five different buildings. With moveable facade that opens and closes, the Planetarium building has become a recognizable contemporary architecture icon. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/foundations\/modulo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Modulo<\/a> was used to provide monolithic ventilated foundations under 1,800 m2 floor area. Modulo was chosen because of its:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Time-saving performance due to modularity and fast mounting,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Adaptability to different floor levels due to its different heights,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Time-saving, comparing to traditional solutions.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/insights\/le-nuage-by-philippe-starck-chose-geoplast-skydome\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Le Nuage &#8211; Philippe Starck<\/a><\/h3>\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-109741\" src=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/la-nuage-philippe-starck.jpg\" alt=\"Philippe Starck - Le Nuage\" width=\"1240\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/la-nuage-philippe-starck.jpg 1240w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/la-nuage-philippe-starck-300x121.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/la-nuage-philippe-starck-768x310.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/la-nuage-philippe-starck-1024x413.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/la-nuage-philippe-starck-224x90.jpg 224w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/la-nuage-philippe-starck-124x50.jpg 124w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/la-nuage-philippe-starck-570x230.jpg 570w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1240px) 100vw, 1240px\" \/>\r\n\r\nProduct used: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/slabs\/skydome\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Skydome<\/a>\r\n\r\nIn construction of the building <a href=\"https:\/\/www.starck.com\/le-nuage-p2319\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Le Nuage<\/a>, modular elements <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/slabs\/skydome\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Skydome<\/a> were used to mould the slabs. When concrete was poured and the Skydome elements were removed, the waffled ceilings were left exposed. Skydome allowed:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Creating slabs with large spans, providing more flexible organization of interior space,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Creating slabs with both decreased weight being therefore cost-saving,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Decrease of concrete CO2 emission, being more sustainable,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Better acoustic performance, because its waffles suppress the sound waves,<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Time saving due to its modularity and easy mounting and demounting.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/projects\/geoplasts-foundation-formworks-for-the-main-square-in-the-new-symbiosis-business-district-in-milan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Symbiosis &#8211; Antonio Citterio<\/a><\/h3>\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-109772\" src=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Citterio-Symbiosis-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1240\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Citterio-Symbiosis-2.jpg 1240w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Citterio-Symbiosis-2-300x121.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Citterio-Symbiosis-2-768x310.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Citterio-Symbiosis-2-1024x413.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Citterio-Symbiosis-2-224x90.jpg 224w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Citterio-Symbiosis-2-124x50.jpg 124w, https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Citterio-Symbiosis-2-570x230.jpg 570w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1240px) 100vw, 1240px\" \/>\r\n\r\nProducts used: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/foundations\/modulo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Modulo<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/foundations\/multimodulo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Multimodulo<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/foundations\/new-elevetor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New Elevetor<\/a>\r\n\r\nNew office building called <a href=\"https:\/\/citterio-viel.com\/architecture\/projects\/symbiosis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Symbiosis<\/a>, designed by Antonio Citterio, presents new landmark in the old industrial area of Milan. The area\u2019s main square, called Adriano Olivetti square, covers the surface of around 5,000m2 and is touched by another Starchitect\u2019s work &#8211; Fondazione Prada by Rem Koolhaas. Three Geoplast\u2019s products &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/foundations\/modulo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Modulo<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/foundations\/multimodulo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Multimodulo<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geoplastglobal.com\/en\/products\/foundations\/new-elevetor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">New Elevetor<\/a> were used to create varying levels of Piazza, creating smaller, scenographic ambients.
