The roof of a new residential development Bermondsey Works in London is transformed into a roof garden, now used as community space for the inhabitants.

The author of the landscape project is Standerwick Land Design studio, and the concept was to create an outdoor common lounge with greenery. The long narrow roof surface is divided into smaller irregularly shaped ambients, creating a dynamic shift of green and paved areas.

The surface of 555 m2 is covered with wildflower turf in our Completa plastic elements, embedded into ANS Grufekit Brown Wildflower Sedum Roof system. Besides the green surface, the roof garden is equipped with sunbathing benches, pavements, and small platforms for observation of the London skyline.

Due to its modularity, the installation process of Completa modules saves time. Completa system slows down the rainwater's run-off and provides additional thermic and sound insulation of the interior space.
