Installation to the wall
WALL-Y provides vertical support to the vegetation: the appearance of the building will be improved, and in turn it will contribute to a more beautiful city.
The system is very lightweight, modular and easy to install. The plastic material with which it is made is resistant to moisture and microorganisms, and ensures a great longevity of the system. The grid is permanently fixed by pressure anchors to the wall to be covered with creepers. Holes in the fixing brackets are used for the passage of the anchors.
Orient the grid panel as illustrated and place it against the wall, marking the position of the holes with a felt-tip pen.
Drill two holes of 8 mm (0.3 in) and, as illustrated, fix the grid to the wall with the ø8 x 60 mm (0.3 x 2.4 in) anchors.
N.B. in case of an External Thermal Insulation Composite System, use specific screws depending on the thickness of the insulation.
Install the Wall-Y grid panels from the bottom up and from right to left, fixing them to the wall (pressure anchors Ø8 x 60 mm.)
WALL-Y: Installation of the WALL-Y POT
Insert the pot’s brackets onto the grid panel fixing brackets as illustrated. Fix with the anchors ø8 x 80 mm (0.3 x 3.1 in). N.B. in case of an External Thermal Insulation Composite System, use specific screws depending on thickness of the insulation..
It is possible to use just one pot for each grid.
