Wir glauben, dass es einen enormen Spielraum f\u00fcr Innovationen und Verbesserungen in der Architektur, im Ingenieurwesen, in der Konstruktion und im Management von Geb\u00e4uden gibt. \r\n\r\nDie gr\u00f6\u00dften Neuerungen sollen bei der Nachhaltigkeit und Rentabilit\u00e4t<\/a> von Geb\u00e4uden gemacht werden. Wir glauben, dass bei der Art und Weise, wie Geb\u00e4ude heute entworfen, gebaut und genutzt werden, gro\u00dfe Mengen an Materialien, Energie, finanziellen und anderen Ressourcen verschwendet werden. \r\n\r\nIn Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass sich das globale Bauen drastisch beschleunigt und zunimmt, kann, wenn die nachhaltige und finanzielle Effizienz nicht erh\u00f6ht wird, erheblicher Schaden verursacht werden. \r\n\r\nDies war mehr als vier Jahrzehnte lang unser Leitbild.
